The Copper Grill Lobster and Steak House - Destin was opened in 2000 by the late Harold Ruttenberg. The restaurant featured an open kitchen, leopard pattern covering in all the booths, an absolutely beautiful décor, and food and service to match. The Copper Grill took Destin by storm. It was THE place to dine in Destin. The restaurant’s slogan was, “Clearly a matter of taste.” This slogan was evident in every aspect of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed in 2007 following Ruttenberg’s death.
